The World Economic Forum (WEF) is an international non-governmental organization. The foundation’s stated mission is “improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas”
The WEF hold several meetings throughout the year in various countries. The WEF’s annual meeting is held each January in Davos, Switzerland. The event is attended by top business leaders, international political leaders, economists, celebrities, and journalists. During the event, they discusses the most pressing issues facing the world. The meeting is by invitation only.
