Description
Centrepoint is a London based charity that works with homeless people (aged 16–25), to provide housing, support services. This includes Healthcare (physical and mental), education, mentoring, training, employment and teaching life skills.
The charity also works to influence government policy and create more local and national support for the homeless community.
Centrepoint was Prince William’s very first Patronage. This charity was especially meaningful to William as it had been one of, his Mother, Diana’s patronages.
Diana had brought William and Harry along on private visits to the charity. William continued visiting the organization after her death. Prior to becoming Patron of Centrepoint, Prince William did a work experience at the charity.
