King Harald passed away on August 28th, 2026 at 6:35 AM at age 89. Harald was King of Norway from 17 January 1991 until his death. Upon his death, his son became King Haakon VIII of Norway.

Following King Harald’s Death and King Haakon’s Accession a number of royals automatically change titles. The table below lists the formal title of each royal. The alt version in grey is used more informally or when you need to use a first name to help specify the specific person, who has held that title.
