Death of King Harald V/ Accession of King Haakon VIII of Norway (2026)

King Harald passed away on August 28th, 2026 at 6:35 AM at age 89.  Harald was King of Norway from 17 January 1991 until his death. Upon his death, his son became King Haakon VIII of Norway.
