English National Ballet is a classical ballet company. It is one of the five major ballet companies in the UK. The company was founded in 1950.
In 1988, the company founded the English National Ballet School. The school was created to train students for a professional career in dance. Today the School exists as a separate entity but maintains strong links with the company.
