How to Deal with Andrew in Old Posts

As a practice, Gert’s Royals uses the title the royal held at the time of the event being described. (e.g. Prince Charles before his reign, King Charles during reign). For posts cover events before October 30th, 2025, Andrew is usually listed as Prince Andrew. If you do not wish to see Andrew referred to by his old title, you can use this toggle.

References to Andrew before Oct 30th, 2025

Description

Tŷ Hafan was the first children’s hospice in Wales, opening in 1999. The organization provides free care and support to children with life-shortening conditions and their families. The hospice provides care within their hospice as well as in homes, communities and school.

Tŷ Hafan is Welsh for “Haven House.”

The charity runs a number of re-sale shops to raise funds.
