January

• Marius Borg Høiby was born at Aker University Hospital in Oslo, Norway to Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby, a single mother.
• His father Morten Borg was in prison at the time for drug-related violent crimes. Morten only had a brief relationship with Mette-Marit.

• Baptized at Lund Church in Kristiansand.

• VG (a Norwegian newspaper) accuses Marius (age 15) of creating an unnecessary security risk by posting family photos on social media. The potential security risk was that the photos showed the family’s location.
