Queen Margrethe II of Denmark – New Year’s Eve Speeches

Queen Margrethe II gives her annual New Years Address at 6 PM on New Years Eve (December 31st). 

The speech is filmed live from the Queen’s Study at Christian IX’s Palace. (Except when construction forced it to be filmed at Fredensborg Castle.)

The speech were usually about 10-15 minutes long and ends with a variation of the phrase “God save Denmark.”
